Having graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Commercial Printing, twenty-something Leah Duncan is self-taught in illustration, design and textiles, and has a hard time staying in one place. In this same manner, she has a hard time focusing on one art form over another, which is why her range of work includes drawings, textiles, surface patterns, paintings, and ceramics. Leah has created a world where organic, beautiful, and quirky co-exist to share the small moments in her life. Exuding a great influence of color, nature, and folk art in her work, Leah uses her lack of formal training to work beyond what she sees as "handcuffs" and do things her way, often times the "wrong" way, but it's this journey that keeps her hungry to work beyond her own abilities and create place in the art world that makes her feel at home. Leah currently resides in Austin, Texas where she loves the sunny weather, cowboy boots, and breakfast tacos.
